Emergency Disaster Response Team: The Salvation Army Disaster Response Program is designed to assist communities and emergency personnel with immediate needs as well as provide emotional and spiritual guidance during a disaster. As a member of the team, you will receive the necessary training and orientation for disaster response. We are currently working to schedule required courses – if you indicate that you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, you will be contacted when a course schedule has been created.
Operation Compassion: From The Home Front: Military care package assembly at warehouse and/or various locations.
Social Services Center (Domestic Violence/Women’s Homeless Shelter): Volunteers are needed to answer phones, run intake, help with childcare, teach classes, and help serve food. For more information, click here.
Harbor Light Center (Drug/Alcohol Addiction Treatment): Volunteers are needed to help with maintenance, answering phones, and serving/preparing food to clients. For more information, click here.
