Concerts and Bellringing?

Look for Red Kettles at Verizon Wireless Music Center this summer

I know, I know… it isn’t Christmas time. The sun is out, you’ve got live bands to see…

So do we! Be sure to look for The Salvation Army bellringers out at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville this summer!

Verizon is, once again, letting The Salvation Army have kettles at concerts to help raise money for, and awareness about, the much needed programs we have to offer those who are struggling.

If you’re interested in being a bellringer at an upcoming concert, all you have to do is sign up by clicking “Sign-up Online” under the “Get Involved” tab at the top of the page.

Race Into Our Winner’s Circle!!!

Volunteers and Employees enjoy a Race themed event!

Friday was a lovely day for a picnic – especially one with a Race theme! About 70 Salvation Army volunteers and employees attended this year’s Volunteer/Employee Appreciation Picnic at Camp Sertoma. We had amazing food (Thank you All American Picnic Company!), presented Volunteer and Employee awards, drew for Door Prizes, and played a few rounds of Bingo.

If you couldn’t make it out this year, hopefully you’ll be able to join us next year – and if you’re brand new to volunteering for The Salvation Army, this is just one of the many events you have to look forward to!

Great Ending to National Salvation Army Week!!!

Bill and Barb dish out lunch!

Another great day for another great event! National Salvation Week ended on a high note this year with our 2nd Annual Eat Outside the Box: A Picnic to End Homelessness.

Volunteers dished out lunch supplied by All American Picnic Company, handed out homemade desserts, bellrang, sold tickets and t-shirts, and watched the public enjoy games of cornhole, live music by Bandwagon, and, for the first time in awhile, sunshine.
Thank you to those of you who attended, and certainly to all of you who helped. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
And if you missed us this year, look for us out again next year – same place – Veteran’s Memorial Park – for the 3rd Annual Picnic…

Can’t wait that long? Mark your calendar right now to attend Apple Fest on Thursday, October 7th on Monument Circle! Bring in a Bite Back Box filled with change and we’ll even give you free apple cobbler.

This time, Max & Erma’s (5899 E. 86th St.) has stepped up to recognize the importance of The Salvation Army in our community and have graciously offered to donate 20% of their dine in and carryout sales on Thursday, May 13th from their lunch and dinner sales!
