Best Radiothon EVER!!!

Thank you to those of you who volunteered at this year’s WIBC 93.1 Radiothon benefiting The Salvation Army. With you help, we raised over $217,000! This year was our biggest yet and we certainly could not have done it without you.

And thank you also to the callers who phoned in their pledges to us during the Radiothon (we couldn’t have done it without you either!) and to those of you who just listened during Radiothon – we hope you have a better understand of all that we do here.

 It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas (it would help though if the rain was snow instead but as far as driving goes, I’m alright with the rain!). In any case, Christmas…

This is the time of year to be thankful for what you have – to help others less fortunate – to enjoy and truly appreciate friends and family for how they’ve enriched your life – and to reflect on the year that is almost behind us.

For so many people, however, this is the time of year for sadness, for yearning, for “not measuring up” to where society says they should be, for not being able to provide a memorable Christmas for their children.
