“The highest reward for a person’s work is not what they get for it, but what they become because of it.” ~John Ruskin
First off – THANK YOU to all the volunteers who helped out at the Colts Coat Collection on Sunday, and THANK YOU to all of you who stopped by to put a coat in our bins! Because of you, we collected nearly 1,300 coats, which means that 1,300 children will be able to stay warm this winter.

But we still have a long way to go.
Tuchman Cleaners has been gracious enough to be the drop-off point for Coats for Kids this year. So when you stop in to have your clothes cleaned, remember to take a coat with you (new or gently used). They’ll clean the coat for free and make sure that it gets to The Salvation Army. Then we’ll make sure it gets to a child who needs it. Any of the Indianapolis-are Tuchman Cleaners will take any coat you can give!
And if you’re interested in being part of Coats for Kids and of ensuring that you, personally, helped keep a child warm this winter, please let me know! All you have to do is click on “Volunteer” and fill out the form, then I’ll be in touch.
I look forward to hearing from you!
~Elizabeth
