“Live and work but do not forget to play, to have fun in life and really enjoy it.” ~Eileen Caddy
Looking for something fun to do on Saturday, August 30th? Want something family-friendly – something that lets you enjoy the outdoors and the community you live in?
Look no further! SkyConcert will take place tomorrow at White River Park! It’s free admission (how can you beat that?), great music by Hank FM, and fireworks timed to music will begin around 9:30pm.
Park anywhere you can and walk over to White River Park – the fun begins at 4pm! While you’re there, take note of the Salvation Army volunteers. You’ll recognize us by the kettles, blinking heart pins, and the huge Salvation Army shield on the backs of our shirts!
All donations go to support our Homelessness Bites campaign (more info can be found at www.HomelessnessBites.org) and every penny is appreciated.
For more information on SkyConcert and how you can help end homelessness in Indianapolis even if you can’t attend the concert, check out www.salvationarmyindiana.org!
