2007 is drawing to an end and the Fall/Christmas season of volunteer opportunities has closed it’s final chapter (or has it?) with the completion of Toy Shop. Allow me a moment, if you will, to recap Toy Shop for you before I make my point:
Over the course of 2 months, WISH-TV, WISH Tree and Angel Tree sponsors, Two Men and a Truck, volunteers, and the community collected well over 8,000 toys. Read more

Whew. Things sure did get busy fast, didn’t they??? A bit of a wrap up, followed by some upcoming events:
The Colts and WISH TV8 Toy Collection received donations of toys totaling 3,300 and brought in $4,900 to be used in support of Toy Shop! Thank you to all of the volunteers who braved the threatening weather and managed to escape just before the rain!
Thank you also to the volunteers who gave their time in the evenings and Saturday mornings to take applications from families in need to help get them Christmas assistance by way of Toy Shop! Read more
